You can delete your Vlogly account at any time. This page explains what happens when you delete your account and how to do it.
This action is permanent
Deleting your account will permanently remove your profile, all trips you created or joined, uploaded clips, and recap videos. This cannot be undone.
What gets deleted
- Your account and profile information
- All trips you created or participated in
- All video clips you uploaded
- All recap videos associated with your trips
- Your vlogger history and trip metadata
What happens to shared trips
If you are the trip creator and delete your account, the trip and all associated content will be deleted for all members. If you are a trip member (not the creator), your uploaded clips will be removed from the trip timeline, but the trip will continue for other members.
How to delete your account in the app

Open Vlogly on your iPhone
Launch the Vlogly app and ensure you are signed in to the account you want to delete.

Go to Settings
Tap your profile icon or the settings gear in the top corner of the app.

Select Account
Navigate to the Account section in settings.

Tap Delete Account
Scroll to the bottom and tap 'Delete Account'. You will be asked to confirm your decision.

Confirm deletion
Read the confirmation message carefully. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Tap confirm to proceed.
Alternative: request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing:

Please use the subject line: Account Deletion Request
Include in your email:
- The email address associated with your Apple ID (if known)
- Your name as it appears in the app
- Any trip names you created or joined (to help us locate your data)
Processing time
Account deletions are processed within 30 days of your request. You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete. In-app deletions are typically immediate, with data fully purged from our systems within 30 days.
Data we may retain
We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g. fraud prevention records), but this will not include your trip content or personal profile data.
